New Client Consultation

A consultation at Adorn is a conversation first—never a sales pitch. It's where we understand your skin, review your current routine, discuss your goals and history, and build a plan that actually makes sense for you. Every new client is encouraged to begin here, and there are two ways to do it: a Consultation Only, or a Consultation + Treatment in the same visit.

Overview

What this treatment is

A consultation at Adorn is a conversation first—never a sales pitch. It's where we understand your skin, review your current routine, discuss your goals and history, and build a plan that actually makes sense for you. Every new client is encouraged to begin here, and there are two ways to do it: a Consultation Only, or a Consultation + Treatment in the same visit.

The Science & Soul

How it works

We review your concerns, treatment history, current skincare, and goals together. From there, we discuss what may help, what may not, and in what order. You leave with a plan built around your skin—not a prescription pulled from a menu. If you've chosen the Consultation + Treatment option and your skin is ready, we move into an appropriate treatment selected that day.

Why Adorn Offers It

The most thoughtful treatments start with understanding. A consultation lets us recommend what makes sense for you rather than what happens to be trending. It also protects your skin: the right treatment in the wrong moment isn't the right treatment. Whether you consult only or consult and treat, the evaluation always comes first.

Good Candidates

Is this right for your skin?

Concerns It May Help

  • General skin health
  • Multiple concerns
  • Uncertainty about where to start
  • Considering advanced treatment
  • Professional skincare guidance
  • Dullness
  • Dryness
  • Congestion

Ideal Candidates

New clients, anyone unsure where to start, anyone considering an advanced treatment, and anyone who wants professional guidance before committing to a service.

When It May Not Be Appropriate

A consultation is always appropriate. If your concerns point toward a condition that needs medical care, we'll tell you and help you find the right next step. For the + Treatment option, if your skin isn't ready for treatment on the day of your visit, we may recommend a different treatment or postpone treatment when doing so is safer or more appropriate.

The Experience

What happens at your appointment

A focused, unhurried discussion of your skin, your goals, and a realistic plan. Bring questions—knowing your current routine helps, and clients may bring or photograph their current skincare for evaluation. With the + Treatment option, we begin with assessment and conversation, then move into a treatment selected for your skin, finishing with clear aftercare guidance.

Preparation

Come with questions. A list of your current products (or photos of them) helps us evaluate your routine. No skin preparation is required for a consultation-only visit. For the + Treatment option, come as you are—avoid active exfoliants the day of if possible, and share any current prescriptions or recent treatments so we can plan safely.

Aftercare

Professional home-care recommendations may be discussed based on your skin and goals. No treatment aftercare applies to a consultation-only visit. For the + Treatment option, aftercare is specific to the treatment performed—hydrate, protect, and pause actives as directed.

Recovery

Downtime & results

Downtime

None for a consultation-only visit. For the + Treatment option, downtime depends on the treatment selected—many same-visit treatments involve little to no downtime, and we set expectations before proceeding.

Recovery

Not applicable for a consultation-only visit. For the + Treatment option, recovery is specific to the treatment performed, and we'll send you home with clear aftercare guidance.

When Results Appear

The result of a consultation is clarity—a plan you understand and feel confident about. Treatment results follow once that plan is put into motion. With the + Treatment option, some results are immediate while others develop over time, depending on the treatment chosen.

Series & Maintenance

A consultation is often the first step before a treatment series. Whether a series is appropriate depends on your concerns and goals, and we'll discuss it as part of your plan. Plans evolve as your skin does. We revisit your plan as treatment progresses.

Enhancements

The Consultation + Treatment option allows an appropriate treatment in the same visit when possible.
